Our Approach
Honest advice,
before you spend a penny.
We’ve seen a lot of files over the years — some stunning, some almost ready, some that genuinely need more work before being printed at scale. Rather than take your money and hope for the best, we’d rather look at your file first and tell you straight.
If it’s print-ready, we’ll say so. If the resolution won’t hold at the size you want, or the colour profile needs converting, or the sharpening is heavy-handed for a fine art paper — we’ll tell you that too, and we’ll explain what can be done about it. It’s a conversation, not a sales call.

When your file lands with us, these are the four areas a printmaker reviews before getting back to you with our feedback.

Colour profile & gamut
Is your file in the right colour space? Has it got an embedded profile? Are there saturated colours that won’t reproduce on paper? We flag anything that’ll cause a surprise on press, and explain how to fix it.

Paper suitability
Some files love a smooth Photo Rag; others come alive on a textured Aquarelle. We’ll suggest the paper your work seems to want — and mention any that wouldn’t suit the style at all.

Final size and crop
Aspect ratios, white borders, where the work sits on the page. Small details that make the difference between a print that feels considered and one that feels rushed.
